5:34 SPEAKER_02: Something the world's never seen before.

5:38 SPEAKER_02: Curses are just superstition, or are they?

5:45 SPEAKER_01: Egypt, 1937.

5:47 SPEAKER_01: The Valley of Kings baked under a punishing sun.

5:50 SPEAKER_01: Beneath its golden sands lay secrets long buried, a secret of a ruthless and murdering king.

5:57 SPEAKER_01: A ruler so evil that all enemies in foreign countries dare not speak his name.

6:03 SPEAKER_01: One night when the king was asleep in his royal chambers, some members of the High King's courts secretly entered King Mumra's room.

6:10 SPEAKER_01: They had drugged him, put a rare, poisonous type of nightshade in his wine.

6:15 SPEAKER_01: The legend says that the elixir paralyzed the king, but was totally aware of what was happening around him.

6:22 SPEAKER_01: The High Court began the mummification process on him alive.

6:25 SPEAKER_01: He couldn't even muffle out a scream, as he felt himself being opened up and his organs being removed.

6:31 SPEAKER_01: He could feel them bandaging him up with soaked gauze, starting as his feet and working their way up his torso.

6:38 SPEAKER_01: They stitched his mouth shut as they removed his eyes.

6:41 SPEAKER_01: They pissed him in a tomb and buried him never to be found.

6:45 SPEAKER_01: And his name forgotten.

6:47 SPEAKER_01: Dr.

6:48 SPEAKER_01: Cartwright and her team of archaeologists have been digging at an undiscovered area just outside of Gaza, Egypt, for the last month.

6:56 SPEAKER_01: They think they are close to discovering the location of an ancient king Mumra.

7:00 SPEAKER_01: Translation: the immortal or ever living.

7:04 SPEAKER_01: Present day.

7:06 SPEAKER_05: Dr.

7:06 SPEAKER_05: Cartwright.

7:08 SPEAKER_05: Over here, I think we've found something.

7:10 SPEAKER_05: Check out these hieroglyphs on the entrance to this.

7:13 SPEAKER_05: I believe we found the tome of Mumra, if I'm translating these inscriptions correctly.

7:22 SPEAKER_01: Deeper in the tomb, they found a sealed coffin, massive obsidian black, covered in red ochre symbols.

7:28 SPEAKER_01: The cartouche read, Mamra the Ever Living.

7:34 SPEAKER_04: If the rumors are true, this tomb hasn't been opened in over 4,000 years.

7:45 SPEAKER_03: It says, no man should disturb the tomb of Mamra.

7:50 SPEAKER_03: If whoever awakens the ever-living shall suffer my curse and feel my eternal wrath.

7:56 SPEAKER_04: Ancient superstition, that's all it is.

7:59 SPEAKER_04: Every tomb has a curse if you dig deep enough.

8:01 SPEAKER_04: Come on.

8:02 SPEAKER_04: There it is, his sarcophagus.

8:04 SPEAKER_04: It has to be him.

8:05 SPEAKER_04: I can feel it.

8:06 SPEAKER_04: Help me with the lid.

8:08 SPEAKER_04: Omar, Harrison, use your pickaxe or try to pry it out with one of those crowbars.

8:14 SPEAKER_04: I'll get on this side, ready?

8:16 SPEAKER_04: On three, two, one, lift.

8:32 SPEAKER_05: Like something tied in here.

8:34 SPEAKER_05: It smells like old decay and rags.

8:37 SPEAKER_04: Something did.

8:38 SPEAKER_04: A god key.

8:39 SPEAKER_04: Pharaoh Mumra.

8:41 SPEAKER_04: This will be one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century.

8:45 SPEAKER_04: The museum will pay quite a handsome price to be able to showcase my exhibition.

8:49 SPEAKER_04: Our find, our discovery.

8:51 SPEAKER_04: We'll be featured in every archaeologist's magazine, be interviewed on TV shows, appearing on podcasts to talk about our discovery, books, movie rights.

9:07 SPEAKER_01: They were the first to step inside the crypt of the ancient pharaoh Mumra in millennia.

9:13 SPEAKER_01: But what they will awaken was not meant for the world of the living.

9:22 SPEAKER_03: They are warnings.

9:24 SPEAKER_04: To awaken Mumra is to curse your soul.

9:26 SPEAKER_04: The breath of the jackal will injure you.

9:28 SPEAKER_04: Your flesh will serve his rise.

9:33 SPEAKER_05: I was supposed to believe this guy comes back from the dead, so what?

9:37 SPEAKER_05: I'm not into folklore or myths or even curses.

9:42 SPEAKER_03: But this is no ordinary tool.

9:45 SPEAKER_03: Look at the wall.

9:48 SPEAKER_03: The gods themselves have depicted fleeing.

9:52 SPEAKER_03: That is definitely not a good sign.

10:09 SPEAKER_04: Dear God, he's perfectly preserved.

10:11 SPEAKER_04: No decomposition at all.

10:13 SPEAKER_04: This is incredible.

10:14 SPEAKER_04: Harrison takes some photos of this.

10:34 SPEAKER_03: Now I have a very bad feeling about this.

11:04 SPEAKER_01: Bugs and beetles crawled in and out of its mouth and eye sockets.

11:15 SPEAKER_05: What the hell?

11:17 SPEAKER_05: It's it's moving, it's moving.

11:18 SPEAKER_05: What the fuck is going on?

11:19 SPEAKER_05: How is this even possible?

11:31 SPEAKER_01: The mummifed king turned its head and looked in Harrison's direction.

11:35 SPEAKER_01: The stench of old earth filled the tomb.

11:38 SPEAKER_01: It outstretched its arm and grabbed Harrison by the throat with super strength and began to crush Harrison's windpipe.

11:46 SPEAKER_01: As it climbed out of his sarcophagus, it began to wrap up Harrison with its old bandages, pulling them and unraveling them off his body.

11:54 SPEAKER_01: Beginning with his head, the bandages going around so tight that his head began to split open.

12:06 SPEAKER_05: He's wrapping me.

12:07 SPEAKER_05: He's wrapping me alive.

12:09 SPEAKER_05: Someone fucking do some.

12:11 SPEAKER_05: Get this thing off of me.

12:24 SPEAKER_01: The others were frozen in disbelief on what they were witnessing.

12:27 SPEAKER_04: Harrison! My god, he's turning him into a mummy while he's still breathing.

12:31 SPEAKER_04: This isn't fucking possible.

12:34 SPEAKER_03: He must feel.

12:35 SPEAKER_03: Otherwise, his resurrection is not complete.

12:38 SPEAKER_03: He needs to become whole again.

12:40 SPEAKER_03: He will use the organs to put into himself.

12:49 SPEAKER_01: Omar dropped his torch on the ground and began to back away, and Dr.

12:53 SPEAKER_01: Cartwright followed.

12:57 SPEAKER_01: The tomb became a slaughterhouse.

12:59 SPEAKER_01: One by one, the crew fell, wrapped in linen, embalmed in agony, their screams echoing off ancient walls.

13:17 SPEAKER_04: Where's the goddamn exit?

13:18 SPEAKER_04: It's got to be around here somewhere.

13:22 SPEAKER_03: You should have listened to the curse, but now you have seen the both our doors.

13:49 SPEAKER_01: He was hiding in the shadows when he grabbed him.

13:52 SPEAKER_01: Omar began thrashing about.

13:54 SPEAKER_01: Then he felt a rip slicing down his back.

13:57 SPEAKER_01: He was in immense pain.

13:58 SPEAKER_01: The mummy pulled the hook out, then faced him as he shoved the brain hook deep up his nasal cavity.

14:04 SPEAKER_01: He turned the hook, twisting it backwards and forward, until bones cracked, and he pulled out Omar's brain through his nose.

14:11 SPEAKER_01: Blood was gushing out of the man's face as it soaked the dusty bandages.

14:16 SPEAKER_01: He then began to pull out his intestines and internal organs and placing them in ancient jars.

14:34 SPEAKER_04: Don't no purses aren't real.

14:37 SPEAKER_01: Dr.

14:37 SPEAKER_01: Abby Cartwright was the only one to escape.

14:40 SPEAKER_01: For months she hid in Cairo, claiming sunstroke, memory loss.

14:45 SPEAKER_01: But she never really slept again.

14:47 SPEAKER_01: She heard whispers in the dark, the smell of old decaying earth.

15:08 SPEAKER_04: What is that noise?

15:09 SPEAKER_04: Hello, is somebody there?

15:20 SPEAKER_04: No, it can't be you.

16:21 SPEAKER_01: No one knows how.

16:22 SPEAKER_01: Some whispered about an ancient curse, the wrath of Mumra the ever-living.

16:28 SPEAKER_01: Some think she was kidnapped, and her organs were sold on the black market or on the dark web to the highest bidder.

16:36 SPEAKER_02: But deep in the desert, Mumra waits in his tomb for the next unsuspecting victim to discover his legacy, his hunger, his curse.
