SPEAKER_03: Beginning intake interview.
SPEAKER_04: I I don't sleep anymore.
SPEAKER_04: Not really.
SPEAKER_04: Every time I close my eyes, they're there, watching me, waiting.
SPEAKER_04: You mentioned they.
SPEAKER_04: Who are they exactly?
SPEAKER_04: The ones who took me.
unknown: Took you?
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
SPEAKER_04: From my bedroom.
SPEAKER_04: From my car.
SPEAKER_04: From places I don't even remember being.
SPEAKER_04: They they pull me out of myself.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, these experiences, they could be sleep paralysis, dissociation, trauma-induced hallucinations.
SPEAKER_04: No.
SPEAKER_04: No, doctor.
SPEAKER_04: They're real.
SPEAKER_04: And they're not done with me.
SPEAKER_03: Let's take this one step at a time.
SPEAKER_03: You said you remember tests?
SPEAKER_04: Not tests.
SPEAKER_04: Experiments.
SPEAKER_04: They don't ask.
SPEAKER_04: They don't speak.
SPEAKER_04: They just open you.
SPEAKER_04: Not physically.
SPEAKER_04: Not with knives.
SPEAKER_04: With something else.
SPEAKER_04: I can feel your thoughts.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, these sound like intrusive memories.
SPEAKER_03: Trauma can you to believe me?
SPEAKER_04: You think I'm crazy.
SPEAKER_04: I believe you're suffering.
SPEAKER_04: And I want to help.
SPEAKER_04: Then put me under.
SPEAKER_04: Hypnosis.
SPEAKER_04: Regression.
SPEAKER_04: I need you to see what I've seen.
SPEAKER_03: We'll schedule a session.
SPEAKER_03: But I want to be clear.
SPEAKER_03: Hypnosis is not a truth serum.
SPEAKER_03: It's a tool for exploring memory, not confirming it.
SPEAKER_04: You'll believe me when you hear them.
SPEAKER_03: Hear who?
SPEAKER_04: The ones inside me.
SPEAKER_03: Section two.
SPEAKER_03: Hypnotherapy induction.
SPEAKER_03: Patient appears anxious but cooperative.
SPEAKER_03: Evan focus on your breathing.
SPEAKER_03: In and out.
SPEAKER_03: Let your mind drift back to the earliest moment you remember feeling watched.
SPEAKER_06: Here.
SPEAKER_03: Where are you?
SPEAKER_06: My bedroom.
SPEAKER_06: It's dark.
SPEAKER_06: Too dark.
SPEAKER_06: The shadows feel thick, like they're breathing.
SPEAKER_03: What happens next?
SPEAKER_06: The light outside my window bends.
SPEAKER_06: Not bright, more like liquid.
SPEAKER_06: It pours through the glass and then step through.
SPEAKER_06: Tall, thin.
SPEAKER_06: Their skin, it's not skin.
SPEAKER_06: It's like smoke wearing a shape.
SPEAKER_03: Do they speak?
SPEAKER_06: Not with mouths.
SPEAKER_06: They press thoughts into me.
SPEAKER_06: Cold thoughts, empty thoughts, like being touched by a void.
SPEAKER_06: What do they want?
SPEAKER_06: To see what's inside.
SPEAKER_06: Not my body.
SPEAKER_03: Me.
SPEAKER_03: How do they do that?
SPEAKER_06: They reach through me.
SPEAKER_06: Like I'm made of water.
SPEAKER_06: Like I'm not solid to them.
SPEAKER_03: How does that feel?
SPEAKER_06: Like drowning in someone else's mind.
SPEAKER_03: Evan, I want you to come back now.
SPEAKER_03: On the count of three.
SPEAKER_03: One.
unknown: Two.
SPEAKER_06: They're listening.
SPEAKER_06: The ones who took me.
SPEAKER_06: They know you're hearing this.
SPEAKER_06: Evan.
SPEAKER_06: They don't like it.
SPEAKER_03: Question three.
unknown: Patient insisted on continuing regression.
SPEAKER_03: She reports increased nightmares and sensations of being observed.
SPEAKER_03: Evan return to the moment after they entered your room.
SPEAKER_06: I'm not in my room anymore.
SPEAKER_06: I'm floating.
SPEAKER_06: No.
SPEAKER_06: Being carried.
SPEAKER_06: The air tastes metallic.
SPEAKER_03: Describe your surroundings.
SPEAKER_06: A corridor.
SPEAKER_06: Walls like bone.
SPEAKER_06: Pulsing.
SPEAKER_06: Alive.
SPEAKER_06: Things.
SPEAKER_06: They glide.
SPEAKER_06: They don't walk.
SPEAKER_06: Their limbs shift.
SPEAKER_06: Like they're choosing shapes as they go.
SPEAKER_06: What would they do to you?
SPEAKER_06: They place me on a table.
SPEAKER_06: Cold, not metal.
SPEAKER_06: Something harder, something older.
SPEAKER_06: Do they restrain you?
SPEAKER_06: No.
SPEAKER_06: I can't move because they've turned me off.
SPEAKER_06: Turn you off.
SPEAKER_06: Like a switch.
SPEAKER_06: Like I'm a machine they're opening.
SPEAKER_03: What happens next?
SPEAKER_06: They reach inside my mind again, pulling memories out, replacing some, testing which ones hurt.
SPEAKER_06: Why would they do that?
SPEAKER_06: To see what breaks us.
SPEAKER_03: Even I want you to.
SPEAKER_06: They're here.
SPEAKER_03: You're safe.
SPEAKER_03: You're in my office.
SPEAKER_06: No.
SPEAKER_03: They're in the walls.
SPEAKER_06: In the lights, in the tape.
SPEAKER_03: Everlyn, wake up.
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to count backwards from three.
SPEAKER_03: And when I reach one, I'm going to snap my fingers, and you're going to wake up.
SPEAKER_03: Three, two, one.
SPEAKER_03: Section four.
SPEAKER_03: Patient requested an emergency appointment.
SPEAKER_03: She claims the beings have become more active.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, please explain what's happening.
SPEAKER_06: They came back.
SPEAKER_06: Not physically, not like before.
SPEAKER_06: They were in my dreams.
SPEAKER_06: But the dreams felt borrowed.
SPEAKER_06: Like they weren't mine.
SPEAKER_03: Describe the dream.
SPEAKER_06: I was standing in a field, tall grass, windless, silent.
SPEAKER_06: And then the sky folded like paper.
SPEAKER_06: And something stepped through the crease.
SPEAKER_06: A shadow of one.
SPEAKER_06: Like it hadn't decided what shape to wear yet.
SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
SPEAKER_03: What did it do?
SPEAKER_06: It pointed at me.
SPEAKER_06: And suddenly I wasn't in the field anymore.
SPEAKER_06: I was inside something.
SPEAKER_06: A chamber.
SPEAKER_03: A chamber.
SPEAKER_03: Was this a painful experience?
SPEAKER_06: No.
SPEAKER_06: Not this time.
SPEAKER_06: I heard a voice.
SPEAKER_06: Not in my head.
SPEAKER_06: Around me.
SPEAKER_06: Behind me.
SPEAKER_06: Inside me.
SPEAKER_06: It said, We are preparing you.
SPEAKER_03: Preparing you for what?
SPEAKER_06: For the next session.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, they're dreams.
SPEAKER_03: Nightmares can feel real, but they're not nightmares.
SPEAKER_03: They're rehearsals.
SPEAKER_03: Personal note.
SPEAKER_03: I've begun experiencing anomalies.
SPEAKER_03: Lights flickering.
SPEAKER_03: Equipment malfunctioning.
SPEAKER_03: Dreams I don't recall having.
SPEAKER_03: I'm not a superstitious man, but Evelyn's sessions are affecting me.
SPEAKER_03: Continue treatment.
SPEAKER_03: Session 5.
SPEAKER_03: Hypnotherapy session.
SPEAKER_03: Patient insisted on deeper regression.
SPEAKER_03: Sleep deprived, trembling.
SPEAKER_03: Reports missing time.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, breathe slowly.
SPEAKER_03: Go back to the last moment you remember before the gap.
SPEAKER_06: I was brushing my teeth.
SPEAKER_06: I blinked, and I was somewhere else.
SPEAKER_03: Where?
SPEAKER_06: A room.
SPEAKER_06: White.
SPEAKER_06: Too white.
SPEAKER_06: Like the color was screaming.
SPEAKER_06: You couldn't look too long because it makes your eyes hurt.
SPEAKER_06: What do you see?
SPEAKER_06: A figure.
SPEAKER_06: Tall, limbs too long, head tilted, studying me.
SPEAKER_03: Does it speak?
SPEAKER_06: Not at first.
SPEAKER_06: It just watches, waiting for me to break.
SPEAKER_06: Then what?
SPEAKER_06: It touches my forehead.
SPEAKER_06: Suddenly I'm seeing things that aren't mine.
SPEAKER_06: Cities collapsing, skies tearing open, people running, going nowhere, the ground swallowing them.
SPEAKER_06: These could be intrusive thoughts.
SPEAKER_06: No, they're memories, just not human ones.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn, I need you to.
SPEAKER_06: They're listening again.
SPEAKER_06: Who?
SPEAKER_06: The ones who showed me.
SPEAKER_06: They don't like you hearing this.
SPEAKER_06: Ending session.
SPEAKER_03: Voicemail received at 2 14 a.m.
SPEAKER_05: They're in my house.
SPEAKER_05: Not physically.
SPEAKER_05: In the lights, in reflections.
SPEAKER_05: Every time I blink, they're closer.
SPEAKER_05: I feel them moving inside my thoughts, rearranging things.
SPEAKER_05: Please call me back.
SPEAKER_05: I don't know how much longer I can keep them out.
SPEAKER_03: Session six.
SPEAKER_03: Emergency appointment.
SPEAKER_03: Patient disoriented, trembling, reports hearing voices when alone.
SPEAKER_03: What happened last night?
SPEAKER_06: They were testing me.
SPEAKER_06: Not physically, mentally, pushing thoughts into me that aren't mine.
SPEAKER_03: What kind of thoughts?
SPEAKER_03: The self-harming kind?
SPEAKER_06: Instructions, blueprints, places I've never seen, stars that don't exist in our sky.
SPEAKER_06: Then why do they feel like memories?
SPEAKER_03: Trauma can distort.
SPEAKER_03: They told me something.
SPEAKER_03: What?
SPEAKER_03: You're next.
SPEAKER_03: Why would they say that?
SPEAKER_06: Because you're listening.
SPEAKER_06: And they don't want you to.
SPEAKER_03: Evelyn appears exhausted, pale, eyes sunken.
SPEAKER_03: She says they've been preparing her.
SPEAKER_03: Are you sure you want to proceed?
SPEAKER_06: They want you to hear now.
SPEAKER_06: To know.
SPEAKER_03: Know what?
SPEAKER_03: What's coming?
SPEAKER_03: Breathe slowly.
SPEAKER_03: Let yourself drift.
SPEAKER_03: They're here.
SPEAKER_03: Ignore the power.
SPEAKER_03: Focus on my voice.
SPEAKER_03: Not me.
SPEAKER_03: Not Evelyn.
SPEAKER_03: We are.
SPEAKER_02: Evelyn, respond to me.
SPEAKER_02: She is a vessel.
SPEAKER_02: A window.
SPEAKER_02: A mouth we borrow.
SPEAKER_02: What or who are you?
SPEAKER_02: The architects of your undoing.

SPEAKER_00: The room showed signs of a struggle, but no footprints.

SPEAKER_00: No trace of anyone leaving.
SPEAKER_00: Authorities dismiss the recording as a hoax, a fabrication, a delusion.
SPEAKER_00: But the tape keeps playing on its own, even unplugged, even destroyed.
