Morbid Morsals. Season 1. Episode 3. Got a minute?
From the wise words of Willy Wonka," Time is a precious thing, never waste it."
James Anderson was a man who was always busy and on the go, never having the time to stop and smell the roses.
But what if you found a device that allowed you not only to alter and manipulate it, but also to stop it completely?
Just because you have the power of a god doesn't make you one.

SPEAKER_03: So until then my friends, I've got another poor and fortunate soul to torture.
SPEAKER_03: My apologies if the chains are too tight.
SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't want you wandering around down here in the dark.
SPEAKER_03: You never know what you bump into.
SPEAKER_03: Or for that matter, what would bump into you?
unknown: Let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go.
SPEAKER_03: This morbid morsel is gord.
SPEAKER_03: Got a minute.
SPEAKER_02: It was a small, intricate gadget with buttons and dials that seemed to serve no obvious purpose.
SPEAKER_02: Curiosity piqued.
SPEAKER_02: He decided to press a button, and to his astonishment, the time around him froze.
SPEAKER_02: At first, James used the device innocently, stopping time to marvel at the world around him in a state of pause.
SPEAKER_02: He would freeze time during sunsets, enjoying the stillness and quiet beauty of the moment.
SPEAKER_02: But as days passed, a darker temptation took hold of him.
SPEAKER_02: The allure of stopping time to fulfill his desires grew stronger, and James began to use the device for personal gain.
SPEAKER_02: He paused time to sneak into stores and take whatever he pleased, reveling in the thrill of theft without consequence.
SPEAKER_02: But with each stolen moment, a sense of unease crept into his heart.
SPEAKER_02: One fateful evening, James pressed the button, expecting time to freeze as usual.
SPEAKER_02: But instead, everything remained eerily still.
SPEAKER_02: Panic gripped him as he realized time had truly stopped, and he was trapped in a world devoid of movement.
SPEAKER_02: Frantically, James made his way back to his house, only to find it shattered and in disarray.
SPEAKER_02: In horror, he saw an intruder, a sinister figure, standing over his frozen family with a knife in hand, ready to strike when time resumed.
SPEAKER_02: With a sinking heart, James understood the dreadful price of his selfish actions.
SPEAKER_02: As he desperately tried to restart time, he realized that some moments, once stolen, could never be returned.
SPEAKER_02: And as the realization dawned on him, a chilling whisper echoed through the frozen silence, a haunting reminder of the consequences of playing with forces beyond his control.
SPEAKER_02: What did you think about that testifying deal?
SPEAKER_03: What the hell would you believe me?
SPEAKER_03: I basically wait the next morning and find the way here to me.
SPEAKER_03: Your dark thoughts always lead you to me.
SPEAKER_03: So my friends, until next time, I look forward to the city.
SPEAKER_00: I'm running out the time, gotta.
